In addition to birds and squirrels, I’m seeing all sorts of cute little critters here I that I haven’t seen in years, ones you don’t normally find in the city.
A few weeks back, while walking the dog I saw numerous baby toads along the side of the road, and I couldn’t resist collecting a few to add to our garden.
To date, I’ve seen little spotted frogs, grasshoppers, pheasants, rabbits and even wild turkeys. To a former city dweller like me, it’s such a thrill to witness all these cute little critters going about their daily business.
I feel so privileged to be living with nature right on my doorstep…
