Today was a great day, especially for little Jovi.
We went for a lovely walk down our street. It was a bright sunny day, with just the perfect amount breeze to dissipate the heat.
No noisy traffic, just the chirping of the birds and the light rustling of the wind in the trees.
No city smog, just clean country air.
The cows were in their field, munching happily on the grass.
One of them eyed me with mild curiosity as I waved her a cheerful hello.
The trees at the edge of the field were loaded with apples this year.
We came home and sat on the front porch for a while, as I critically eyed the front garden and pondered what to plant next year.
Then we crashed out on the couch together and took in some HGTV.
